A minimum go-karting weight limit exists in the world of competitive go-kart racing to ensure that lighter drivers don’t get an unfair advantage. There’s no reason why a large reptilian monarch weighing in at 1200 lbs. should be racing against a slim princess that weighs in at 126 lbs.

Go Kart Racing Rules & Regulations. All rules are strictly enforced. All racers MUST sign a waiver form. A minimum height of 52 inches is required for adult karts.
