I know this may sound stupid but I'm asking a serious question. I have a Schecter c-1 stealth. This is my first time getting new pickups installed. I heard the Zakk Wylde pickups are more for les paul style guitars. But will the pickups fit and work with my guitar?

Not with our active pickups. EMG active pickups require a stereo output jack to turn the battery off when the guitar is unplugged, saving your battery. Most guitars and basses come with a mono output jack, which will work just fine with our passive (HZ) pickups.

Other guitar brands with EMG pickups. If you’re looking for guitars that come with built in EMGs and don’t necessarily care if you’re getting an Ibanez or another brand, there are brands that have many more models that come equipped than Ibanez. In fact, I’ve made a list of every guitar with EMG pickups (does include past models as well).

IIRC, emg's are slightly wider than normal pickups, so you'd probably need to cut the pickguard slightly, or buy a new pickguard all together. Don't quote me on this though, I'm tired as fvck, so ...

Hi Tyler, in order to some checking, I took the pick guard off my unmodified Custom shop strat and then replaced it. Once I screwed it back down, I have found that the neck pickup is no longer working. The other two pickups still work fine. Whilst the pick guard was off the guitar, I didn’t touch any wiring or make any adjustments.
